Exotic Index is a private place to save cars you see. You do not need an account to start.

Take photos only while you are stopped and where photos are allowed. Check each photo before you share it.

Free mode keeps working without Pro. Pro adds optional cloud backup and recovery after you choose Sign in with Apple.

Apple handles payments. Weekly and yearly plans renew until you cancel them. The lifetime unlock is one payment.

Use the app safely

Exotic Index is a private car-spotting and collection tool. Capture only while stationary and where photography is permitted. Do not operate the app while driving or in a way that distracts a driver.

Your photos and venue rules

You keep your rights in content you provide. You give Exotic Index limited permission to process that content only to provide a feature you ask for, such as saving, archiving, recovering, exporting, or sharing a sighting.

You are responsible for having the right to capture, upload, and share each image. You must follow venue, organizer, privacy, and local rules that apply to you. Do not use the app to identify or track a person, owner, driver, or license plate. Contact support for a rights or takedown concern.

Name and review your collection

Enter the car details you know, connect repeat encounters, or leave a sighting as a mystery car. Exotic Index does not verify authenticity, ownership, history, value, safety, or legal status from a photo or a label you enter. The launch version does not send photos to a remote vehicle-recognition provider.

Free and Pro

Rapid capture, the local garage, manual entry, mystery cars, repeat encounters, event albums, basic sharing, and an importable private collection backup remain available without a paid purchase. Pro adds optional Apple-backed Cloud Archive and recovery plus spreadsheet-friendly CSV export. Cloud Archive means a private backup that you choose to connect to Apple. Availability can depend on service capacity and is displayed before use.

Apple purchases

Apple offers Pro as a weekly or yearly subscription. A subscription renews until you cancel it. Apple also offers a lifetime unlock. This is a one-time purchase that does not renew.

Before you buy, the paywall shows the product and total price for your region. It also shows the time period, renewal terms, and any current offer. Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.

Weekly and yearly plans renew unless you cancel through Apple at least 24 hours before the current period ends. If you cancel, Pro stays active through the paid period. You can manage a plan in Apple subscription settings.

You can restore an eligible purchase from Settings. Apple handles refund requests under its policies and the law.

An expired, refunded, or revoked purchase can remove Pro after the app checks the purchase record. It does not hide local records.

Restoring a purchase restores eligible Pro access only. Restoring collection data is a separate Sign in with Apple action in Pro Cloud Archive.

Availability and changes

Cloud archive, recovery, and purchase status depend on third-party services and network access and may be unavailable. The complete local collection path remains available. We may change or discontinue features or limits and will describe material purchase or subscription changes as required by Apple and applicable law.

Apple license terms

These terms supplement Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies to the app. If these terms conflict with Apple’s standard agreement, that agreement controls to the extent required.

Operator

Exotic Index is operated by Anthony Treviso in the United States. These terms supplement Apple’s standard agreement and the non-waivable laws that apply to you.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Circumvent quotas, purchases, security controls, or another user’s private storage.
• Upload unlawful content or content you do not have permission to process.
• Use the app for surveillance, harassment, plate lookup, owner identification, or location tracking.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or build a competing dataset from the service except where law expressly permits.

Disclaimers and liability

Plain summary: The app may be unavailable or wrong, and it does not promise uninterrupted operation. This summary does not replace the legal terms below.

The app and its suggestions are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or operation without a break. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Exotic Index is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages from use of the app. Rights that the law does not let you waive remain in place.
